법사에 대해 ～호쿠리쿠에서 가장 오래된 숙소～ 개산 1300년을 맞이한 일본 삼대 영봉 '하쿠산'의 역사와 함께 호시의 역사도 시작되었습니다. 백산에서 혹독한 수행을 하고 있던 태청 대사의 꿈속에 백산 대권현이 나타나, 땅속 깊이 숨겨진 영천의 존재를 알려주었습니다. 그 신의 계시에 따라 이 아와즈로 향해 영천을 발견한 대사는, 지금까지 곁에서 섬기던 제자인 가료 법사에게 온천 숙소를 세우게 하고, 그 관리를 맡겼습니다. 이것이 '호시'의 시작입니다. 가료 법사가 세상을 떠난 후에는 양자인 젠고로가 2대째를 이어받아, 그 후 46대에 걸쳐 일가족만으로 운영을 계속하고 있는 세계에서도 드문 료칸으로 현재도 온천을 지켜오고 있습니다.
