Sleeping Inside History

🏠Three guest houses, A, B and C, each taken whole and privately
🪵Two-storey timber machiya with their beams, tatami and hinoki tubs left as they were
🛏️House A sleeps eight and has a garden, House B up to eleven, House C six

The Sake Bath

🍶In a nod to the brewery's origins, sake is poured into the bath for you
♨️A soak said to help circulation, warmth, moisture and brightness of skin
🛁Every house has its hinoki tub, and the sake bath is yours alone

The Dining Kitchen

🍳An IH hob, cookware and tableware, so you can cook exactly as you like
🛒Carrying Okayama's specialities back from the shops is half the pleasure of a private machiya
☕Nespresso, black tea, Japanese tea and bottled water are all stocked

The Lounge House

🛋️One of the four townhouses is a public lounge facing the old Karita family courtyard
🍵Free coffee and tea, and a library to use as you please
🌿Sit on the engawa and watch the garden do nothing at all

🌳Each house has its own garden of trees, moss and stone lanterns, with a wooden terrace

🕒Check-in 15:00, check-out 11:00; check-in is handled at the group's Shiroyama Terrace Tsuyama Bettei
🚗Non-smoking throughout, free Wi-Fi and free parking; larger vehicles park at the Bettei with a transfer of about 5 minutes
📶Hinoki tub, flat-screen TV, USB sockets and air purifier in every house
