Property Description Conveniently located near various tourist spots including, Mt. Haguro and Mt. Gassan, Tamonkan is a traditional Japanese ryokan. Founded over 300 years ago, the ryokan is distinguished by its commitment to the spirit of hospitality and an intimate and refined ambiance. This ryokan offers various seasonal dishes made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Guests will enjoy the historical guest rooms from the Taisho Period with tatami mat floors and futon bedding. Internet (wireless LAN) is available. Property Access 35-minutes by car from Shonai Airport. 1-minute from Aramachi bus stop leaving from JR Tsuruoka on route to Mt. Haguro. 15-minutes by car from Shonai Asahi Interchange on Yamagata Expressway.
