旅馆介绍
🍃Nine rooms embraced by the sound of the river
Hyogo · Hashinoya Annex Ransui
1
A Small Ryokan by the Stream in Storied Arima
- 🏞️Located in Arima Onsen, Japan's oldest hot spring town, in Kobe's Kita ward
- 🌿A small, purely Japanese-style wooden ryokan with just nine rooms
- 🍶A cuisine-focused 'ryotei inn,' serving a refined meal at the heart of every stay
2
A Standalone Bathhouse Overlooking the Stream
- ♨️The bathhouse stands as its own building within the garden, facing the Takigawa stream
- 🍁Fresh greenery and autumn leaves color the seasons, and the call of kajika frogs soothes the mind
- 🛁The tub, crafted from cypress and maki wood, wraps you in the scent of timber
3
Sometimes a Private Bath, Just for Your Family
- 👨👩👧Depending on the day, the bath can be used as a family or private (kashikiri) bath
- 🌙Bathe quietly, with only the sound of the stream for company
- 🧾A separate bathing tax of 150 yen applies
4
Nine Rooms, Each With Its Own Character
- 🏡Originally a private villa, the building lends each room its own light and mood
- 🛏️Every room has its own bath and toilet, ranging from 8 mats up to a 10+7.5-mat suite
- 🌳Rooms facing the garden or stream keep the seasons close at hand
5
A Kaiseki Feast Served in Your Room
- 🍽️Both dinner and breakfast are served in-room (oheyashoku), each dish brought fresh
- 🐟A kaiseki course to savor the finest seasonal seafood, course by course
- 🍵Day-trip lunch and dinner kaiseki plans are also available by reservation
6
A Meiji-Era Villa's Garden Through the Seasons
- 🌸Originally built in the Meiji era as a villa for a wealthy merchant from Kaga who made his fortune in the Kitamae-bune trade
- 🍃The garden, dating back to the villa's early days, lets guests feel every season in full
- 💧A garden rich in deep greenery, true to the meaning behind its name, 'Ransui' (mist-green)
7
Good to Know Before Your Stay
- 🕑Check-in at 14:00, check-out at 11:00
- 🚶There is no elevator, so guests who have trouble with stairs are advised to request a ground-floor room
- 🚌About 30 minutes from Shin-Kobe, or reachable from Sannomiya via subway and train to Arima
In this small nine-room retreat, a cypress bath overlooking the stream and an in-room kaiseki dinner fill a quiet day. A fitting ryokan for those who want to savor the timeworn charm of Arima at an unhurried pace.
