La Posada

Four Nordic-style holiday cottages on a hillside above Lake Kawaguchi

Private lake-view terraces

There are four two-storey cottages, each with its own private terrace. The upstairs terrace looks out over Lake Kawaguchi.

BBQ with a beer server

Grills, seasonings and plates are provided, so you only need to bring your own food. A draft beer server and wine are available for a fee.

Each cottage is different

Bedrooms are on the ground floor and the kitchen and living room upstairs, with wallpaper and sofas that differ from cottage to cottage. Triple-glazed Nordic-style construction keeps them warm in winter.

Waterfall shrine walk

Haha no Shirataki Shrine is a 20-30 minute walk further up the mountain, with views of the lake and Mt. Fuji from the forest road. Spanish-speaking staff are on site.
