An existing hotel was renovated by a design unit led by architect Takashi Mitsuura together with craftspeople and creators based in Oita. Staff uniforms, the logo and the furniture are also by Oita-connected designers.

Single rooms with their own themes

Each single room has its own interior theme, from colorful boards to brick and wood grain. With just 40 rooms, you can pick a different one each stay.

Shoes-off flooring twin

The flooring twin pairs wooden floors with low beds, inspired by the raised 'koagari' of a Japanese room, so you take your shoes off and relax. It measures 16.26 m² and there are only two.

Laundry lounge

The coin laundry doubles as a lounge with designer chairs, and guests can browse local Oita magazines and travel guides.
