Hot-spring water piped from Kuzu Onsen in the Takase Valley fills the men's and women's garden baths and open-air baths. Two reservable private semi-open-air baths, Hoshi no Yu and Tsuki no Yu, are also available.

On floors 5-7 of the Midori wing, rooms with their own open-air bath look out over the clear Kashima River and the mountains.

Spring-water welcome drink

All water used at the inn comes from its own very soft spring source, and guests are greeted with a glass of it on arrival.

Riverside footbath

The Rakuza no Yu footbath, designed to mirror the Kashima River, lets you sit on the veranda and relax. It is closed in winter (early December to late April).

About 13 min by bus from JR Shinano-Omachi Station, then 7 min on foot from the Omachi Onsenkyo stop (free station shuttle by reservation the day before)
