A historic ryotei site

The site was home to the ryotei inn Kohan from 1774, later a ryokan and the Japanese restaurant Fujihan, and reopened in 2020 as a small ryotei inn.

Private bath in every room

All 13 rooms have either a hinoki cypress bath or a RAKU-YU jet bath that massages the shoulders and lower back. The Premier Room adds a private garden and a semi-open-air hinoki bath.

Onomichi creative kaiseki

Dinner is a creative kaiseki course built on Seto Inland Sea seafood and local Onomichi produce, including sashimi served with lemon salt, herb oil and Tosa soy sauce, and vinegar from the Sugita Yojibee shop, in business since 1884.
