This is the shukubo of Anrakuji, Temple No. 6 of the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage and the first temple lodging pilgrims reach on the route. It has hosted pilgrims for about 400 years.

Kobo-no-Yu spring bath

The spring is said to have been discovered by Kobo Daishi and gives the temple its mountain name, Onsenzan. A large or small bath is prepared depending on the number of guests.

Evening service

Overnight guests may join the evening sutra-chanting service in the main hall free of charge. Times can change, so ask in advance.

Indigo-dyed Seiryu Room

A single room decorated with Tokushima's traditional aizome indigo dyeing. It sits on the second floor with a view over the garden.

From JR Itano Station (Kotoku Line), take the Tokushima Bus bound for Kajiyabara to Higashihara stop, then walk about 7 minutes
