Over 140 years of history

It began in 1882 as a teahouse on the former residence site of the Arima domain's falconers, and grew into a ryotei restaurant and hotel that remains a Kurume landmark.

1,600㎡ Japanese garden

A roughly 100-year-old Somei Yoshino cherry tree blooms in spring, followed by wisteria and autumn maples. The tea lounge and the Shiunen ryotei face the garden.

Two styles of suite

The Executive Suite has a separate living room and bedroom plus a mini dining kitchen, sleeping up to four. The Royal Suite has a separate bathtub and shower booth.

Japanese-Western family room

The Deluxe Twin Japanese-Western room combines beds with a tatami area and sleeps up to four. All rooms are non-smoking with Simmons beds.

About 5 minutes by car from Nishitetsu Kurume or JR Kurume Station (free parking for 70 cars); Hakata to JR Kurume is 20 minutes by Kyushu Shinkansen
