Three 150㎡ maisonettes

There are only three rooms, Alba, Monte and Grano, each a maisonette with two twin bedrooms and an open-air hinoki bath. Alba has a private dry sauna, Monte a steam sauna, and Grano a reading space.

Art and furniture per room

Each room is built around a Japanese painting of Yamagata's mountains or barley fields, with Finn Juhl sofas and chairs in matching colors, made in Asahi-machi, Yamagata.

Hot spring straight from the source

Spring water is piped to each bath without contact with the air. A circular window opens onto an outdoor Zao-stone bath, alongside hot and cold tubs for contrast bathing.

Open-kitchen counter dining

Chef Makoto Harada cooks with Okitama Basin ingredients such as Yonezawa beef in the ground-floor open kitchen. Breakfast rice is Kurosawa Farm's Yumegokochi, cooked in an earthenware pot.
