Choose between Corner Rooms and Standard Rooms, nine in total. Rooms measure 52–61.9 m² and pair golden tatami with a generous sofa in a blend of Japanese and Western style.

Shigaraki ceramic tubs

Every bathroom has a handmade Shigaraki-ware ceramic tub about 110 cm across, deep enough for a proper soak.

Guests-only library lounge

On the east side of the 2nd-floor guest level, a library lounge holds books picked by a book coordinator, with large windows looking onto the ginkgo-lined Hongo-dori.

Founded in 1899

Ryumeikan opened as a ryokan in Kanda-Surugadai in 1899 (Meiji 32). The on-site Restaurant 1899 Ochanomizu is built around Japanese tea and Japanese cuisine.
