Paintings the world-renowned printmaker Shiko Munakata made while staying here with his family are displayed in the in-house gallery, and small prints of his hang in the guest rooms.

The inn was the first onsen in Aomori Prefecture licensed to let guests drink its spring water, available 24 hours beside the main entrance.
