HIGHLIGHTS
What makes it special
Kura-style private villas facing Mt. Fuji at Lake Kawaguchi
Mt. Fuji from every villa
All five buildings across three types look out on Mt. Fuji, so you can watch the mountain change with the seasons from your own villa.
Private Shigaraki-ware baths
Each building has its own open-air bath made of Shigaraki ceramic ware, yours to use whenever you like. It is closed for part of winter to prevent freezing.
Covered BBQ house
A roofed barbecue building works rain or shine, with grills for rent by reservation. Bring your own food; BBQ is available April to November.
Spacious self-catering homes
Behind the white storehouse walls are a private kitchen, a high-ceilinged living room and a semi-basement lounge, suited to couples, families and groups.
- Getting there
- About 10 min walk (approx. 1 km) from Fujikyu Kawaguchiko Station; about 5 min drive from Kawaguchiko IC
- Best for
- Families and groups wanting Mt. Fuji views, a private bath and a barbecue
