Designed by architect Kengo Kuma to echo a rugged mountain ridge, the building faces Mt. Awagatake. The eaves that greet arriving guests are inspired by firewood for a campfire.

Private-source onsen

The large bath draws 100% from its own spring (mildly alkaline simple spring), with open views from the indoor bath, open-air bath and sauna. Overnight guests get exclusive hours (7:00–9:00 and 21:00–22:00).

Villa suite with outdoor tub

The 100㎡ Villa Suite "Earth" is glass-walled on all sides, with a king-size bedroom, dining kitchen and a private outdoor bath on the deck. In-room baths use heated tap water; the onsen is in the main bath house.

Mobile house and big tent

Stay in "Jyubako", a 24㎡ mobile house co-developed by Kengo Kuma and Snow Peak, or the 100㎡ "Field Villa" stretch tent furnished with Snow Peak gear. The Field Villa has no toilet or bath; guests use shared facilities.
