Century-old kominka, all yours

One group per day, up to 9 guests. Three tatami rooms and one Western-style room; two tatami rooms open into one large space for meals and conversation.

Log sauna in the garden

Built of Shizuoka timber and heated above 90°C by a wood stove, with 'tea löyly' using Fujieda green tea, a natural groundwater cold plunge and a garden cool-down area (sauna plan required; 15:00-17:00 on check-in day).

Cook-your-own kitchen

Four-burner stove, fridge, microwave, rice cooker, cookware and tableware. No meals are served; bring your own ingredients (supermarkets about 10 minutes by car).

Getting there

In the Sukemune hills of Fujieda, Shizuoka. Free on-site parking for 4 cars; a car is the easiest way to get there
