Onsen bath in every villa

Every villa has a semi-open-air bath fed by Eiheiji Zen Onsen, an alkaline (pH 9.1) bicarbonate-type spring, plus a terrace. Doors and slits let you adjust how open or private it feels.

Art in every room

Ceramic artist Koichi Uchida supervised the rooms and curated the art, mixing Fukui antiques such as Echizen pottery and lacquerware with folk crafts from around the world across eight villas, each with its own concept.

Dining with Kokuryu sake

An auberge created by the Kokuryu sake brewery, with the Japanese restaurant En, French restaurant cadre and Bar Toki, known for fruit cocktails and Japanese spirits.

Clay-pot rice breakfast

Breakfast is served at Apéro & Pâtisserie acoya inside the neighbouring ESHIKOTO complex: Fukui Koshihikari rice cooked in a clay pot with local foods such as heshiko and Fukui salmon.
