Your group has the entire second floor of a white-walled machiya townhouse in the Bikan district. The villa is run by Yoshii Ryokan.

High-ceilinged living and kitchen

The open living space has high ceilings, three induction burners, a dishwasher, pots, pans and tableware, so you can bring ingredients and cook. It is furnished with Hida furniture and Kurashiki knotting rugs chosen by the landlady.

Tatami room with beds

The Japanese-style bedroom has Serta beds, with a retro rocking chair by the bedside.

Bath under a skylight

The bathroom ceiling is glass, so you can bathe in natural light in the morning and look up at the sky. Meals from the Yoshii Ryokan main building can be ordered separately.

Check in at the Yoshii Ryokan main building, about 15 minutes' walk from JR Kurashiki Station; the villa is 2 minutes' walk from there
