Heated spring-water baths

The baths use water from a spring on the grounds, said to have been found by the monk Kobo Daishi and recorded in Edo-period documents. There is one bath each for men and women; the women's bath was refitted with a cypress tub in 2021.

Three rooms, all in separate buildings

All three guest rooms sit in buildings apart from the main house. The new wing has 4.5- and 6-tatami rooms plus a Western-style room with two bunk beds, sleeping up to eight.

Soba and egg-over-rice

Open since 1983 as a day-bathing spot known for handmade soba, it serves all-you-can-eat egg-over-rice, noodles, rice bowls and set meals in its large tatami hall, cooked with the on-site spring water.

Barbecue hearth

Paying guests can use the outdoor barbecue hearth year-round for free; iron plates and grills can be rented, while food and fuel are bring-your-own.
