Hammocks on every terrace

There are only seven rooms, and every terrace has a hammock. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame Lake Biwa and the Hira mountains.

Lake-edge infinity pool

Guests can use the infinity pool, designed so the water appears to merge with the lake, plus a jacuzzi. The pool closes every December to February; the sauna and jacuzzi stay open.

Tea-themed sauna

A small, private-feeling sauna scented with tea looks out over Lake Biwa and the Hira range, with a cold bath and an outdoor resting area.

Aged-meat dinner course

Dinner is served at an open-kitchen counter around the chef, centred on aged meat and local ingredients. The 3F Bar & Lounge is all-inclusive, with light bites and drinks through the day.

About 20 min by local bus from JR Moriyama Station to the Biwako Ohashi Higashizume stop, then a 2-min walk; free parking
