Tsukimi-za rooftop

The rooftop terrace, Tsukimi-za, is made for an evening drink under Ishigaki's moon. The hotel's name comes from a line about the thirteenth-night moon in the Yaeyama folk song Tsukinu Kaisha.

Handcrafted, one-off interiors

Custom furniture is built from reclaimed scaffolding boards, and each of the 33 rooms has a different desk lamp assembled from vintage tools. Even the room numbers are hand-cut by a metalworker.

Walk to the ferry terminal

Ishigaki Port is about a 10-minute walk away, making it an easy base for day trips to Taketomi, Iriomote and other islands. Downtown is also within walking distance.

Diver-friendly facilities

There is a space to rinse and dry diving gear, and free washing machines on the third floor. Guests are welcomed with a complimentary drink such as local awamori.
