Yumemi open-air bath

A recreation of the first bath tended by Miizumi Jozan, founder of Jozankei Onsen, built with old timber, stone and bare bulbs. The water is 100% natural hot spring with nothing added.

Three-floor bath wing

Large baths recreate the Jozankei gorge with local stone and rock, while a white-tiled bath looks out over the seasons. There are hot-spring steam baths and a lounge with music and sofas.

Tsukiboshi special floor

Rooms with private hot-spring baths share an exclusive view lounge with a foot bath and drinks. Dinner is served at Kochuten, private dining rooms built from a relocated Kyushu farmhouse and an Otaru stone warehouse.

Dog-friendly rooms

Rooms 301, 302, 303 and 305 welcome dogs. Room 303 has its own hot-spring bath and a dog terrace, and meals can be enjoyed in the room with your dog.

About 80 min by Jotetsu Bus from Sapporo Station bus terminal gate 12; the Yunomachi stop is right in front (free reservation-only shuttle from Odori)

Property Description Jozankei Onsen Furukawa offers guests from Japan and abroad an excellent chance to experience a traditional Japanese inn. Located in the heart of Sapporo City in scenic Hokkaido Prefecture, this 52-room inn boasts a large public bath with an open-air bath as well. Also features several affordable dining options featuring traditional Japanese cuisine, including a buffet-style breakfast with a wide variety of dishes. All of the spacious rooms feature traditional tatami floors, with a TV, refrigerator and several other amenities available as well. Property Access Access: [Free Shuttle Bus ]: Our shuttle bus departs from the front of NHK building, on the north side of TV tower, Odori West 1, at 14:00 p.m. every day. The return bus leaves our hotel at 10:00 a.m.. You can get off either at Odori West 4 or at Sapporo station. It is available only by reservation. Bus on a Regular Line (Jotetsu Bus). Take Jotetsu Bus (line 7 or 8) bound for ''Jozankei Hot Spring'' or ''Hoheikyo Hot Spring'' from the Gate 12 of the bus terminal, outside the south exit of Sapporo Station and get off at ''Jozankei Yunomachi'' bus stop. It takes approximately 1 hour 20 minutes. Our hotel is right in front of the bus stop. The adult bus fare is 750 yen
