A dog-friendly hotel in Shizuoka's Mariko craft village

Up to three dogs per room

Each room sleeps up to 2 guests and 3 dogs (the Connecting Room takes 4 guests and 6 dogs). Rooms come with a 90 cm cage, food bowls and toilet trays, plus a shower room with two heads, one large and one small.

Covered dog run for guests

A roofed outdoor dog run reserved for hotel guests can be used even on rainy days. Guests also get free use of the main dog run, with agility equipment and a small-dog area, and the self-service dog wash booth.

Craft workshops with your dog

The hotel sits right next to the traditional craft centre Sunpu no Kobo Takumishuku, and you can try craft workshops together with your dog in a booth inside the hotel.

Dining alongside your dog

Dogs can join you for breakfast and dinner at Washoku OTE on the ground floor, which serves Suruga Bay seafood such as shirasu and sakura shrimp, plus local dishes like kuro-hanpen and Shizuoka oden. Meals for dogs are available too.

Getting there

From JR Shizuoka Station North Exit bus stop 7, take the Shizutetsu Justline bus (Chubu Kokudo Line) to Togeppo Sunpu Takumishuku Iriguchi, then walk about 5 min (by car, about 200 m from Mariko IC)
