The high-temperature acidic water (pH 3.1) of the Tateshina Mimuro source flows straight into a rock open-air bath and indoor baths. There are also Shigaraki-ware ceramic baths and an Estonian barrel sauna.

The hotel adjoins the Tateshina Kogen Art Forest Sculpture Park, an open-air museum of about 70 works by Japanese contemporary sculptors on grounds of roughly 20,000 tsubo. A walking path of about 2 km leads through the collection.
