Mori no Spa Resort Hokkaido Hotel

A moor hot spring resort hotel wrapped in a century-old forest in central Obihiro

Moor onsen, a Hokkaido Heritage

The hotel draws rare plant-based moor hot spring water, designated a Hokkaido Heritage in 2004. The public bath has an open-air bath, a jacuzzi and indoor baths at different temperatures, free for overnight guests.

Self-löyly sauna

The bath's sauna lets you pour your own Finnish-style löyly, and the cold plunge uses underground water from the clear Satsunai River.

Private open-air baths and saunas

The Forest Spa Twin and Premium Spa Suite have their own open-air moor hot spring baths. The Sauna Twin 'Totonoe' comes with a private self-löyly sauna and terrace.

Tokachi-sourced breakfast

The restaurant overlooks a garden visited by Ezo squirrels, serving a choice of Western, Japanese or soup-curry set with a half buffet. Bread is baked in-house from 100% Tokachi wheat.
