There are just two buildings: Kanna, the former home of a ship carpenter (129㎡, up to 6), and Kobiki, once a furniture maker's home (80㎡, up to 4). Each is rented as a private, entire house.

Okawa furniture and hinoki baths

Each house is furnished with pieces made by local Okawa woodworkers, and the bathrooms have hinoki cypress tubs.

Okawa breakfast delivered

Breakfast featuring bread from a local bakery and vinegar from the long-established Shoubunsu brewery is brought to your house at 8:30 a.m. Vegan options are available.

Woodworking with local artisans

Hands-on programs let you learn techniques from the craftsmen of Okawa, a furniture-making town with over 480 years of history.

Enokizu, Okawa City, Fukuoka — about 20 min by car from Kyushu Saga International Airport, or about 15 min by taxi from Nishitetsu Yanagawa Station
