The Oki family residence

The inn occupies the restored residence of the Oki family, shipping merchants who underpinned the prosperity of Ataka, a port of call for Kitamaebune trading ships. The main house and storehouses hold only three rooms.

Whole main house with sauna

Nagi takes up the entire former main house: 169㎡ for up to 8 guests, with a private sauna, a bathtub and tatami rooms looking onto the courtyard.

Storehouse rooms

Migiwa (109㎡, up to 4 guests) sits between the storehouse and an engawa veranda, while Getsumei (66㎡, up to 3 guests) is a converted storehouse.

Kutani ware gallery

The inn displays Kutani ware selected by the renowned Kinzan kiln. The gallery is open to non-guests too, and the pieces are for sale.
