Gorge-view hot springs

The large baths use sodium-chloride spring water from the local Kasuga Onsen sources, and the red-stone open-air bath looks out over the Jinzu Gorge. A guests-only spa adds a jacuzzi, cold carbonated bath and sauna.

No two rooms are alike. ANNEX rooms 111–114 are 115–150㎡ suites with their own hot-spring baths.

Toyama-sourced dining

Restaurant Trésonnier builds its courses on chef-selected Toyama ingredients, from Toyama Bay seafood to pesticide-free vegetables from its own garden. Breakfast centres on Toyama Koshihikari rice cooked in a clay pot.

Architecture and art

The ANNEX was designed by architect Hiroshi Naito and opened in 2005. An art walk with contemporary sculptures runs along the gorge, and there are two tea rooms.
