Own on-site spring

In 1991 a well drilled 1,000 m beneath the grounds brought up a naturally flowing 50°C sodium chloride spring. Fresh source water constantly feeds the baths, and the open-air baths look out to sea (women's side: open-air and indoor baths; men's side: open-air bath).

Every room faces the sea

All guest rooms, Japanese, Western and combined styles, face the sea side. Toyama Bay is also visible from the lobby, the baths and around the building.

Himi seafood cuisine

Dinners center on seasonal seafood from Himi, from a five-dish course up to kaiseki. Breakfast features Himi-grown Koshihikari rice and kabusu-jiru miso soup served in traditional local bowls.

Abugashima views

The uninhabited island of Abugashima, 1.8 km offshore, can be seen from the courtyard and various spots in the inn. The Toyama Prefectural Fish Farming Center, free to enter, sits just below.
