The head chef forages wild mountain vegetables himself and pairs them with seasonal Azumino produce in creative kaiseki. Dishes arrive one at a time so each is served at its best temperature.

Silky Hotaka Onsen water

Alkaline simple hot spring water is piped about 19 km from its source in the Nakabusa Valley. Men and women each have a stone-lined open-air bath and a large indoor bath.

Annex rooms "Azumino-iro"

Two Japanese-modern rooms renovated in March 2020, themed on the iris-purple and wasabi-green colors of Shinshu. Twin beds are set on tatami floors.

Colorful yukata for women

Female guests can borrow a patterned color yukata and sash free of charge (limited numbers). The women's bath also has a shampoo bar.

About 10 minutes by taxi or the ryokan's shuttle bus from JR Hotaka Station (Oito Line); free parking for 50 cars
