What makes it special

A Takamatsu city hotel with a waterfall garden and Kagawa craft motifs

Courtyard waterfall garden

The courtyard is a Japanese garden with a waterfall named Korin no Taki, and its trees change with the seasons outside the windows.

Kagawa motifs throughout

Local crafts shape the interior, from a 2F lobby chandelier modeled on a Takamatsu paper umbrella to a lounge chandelier inspired by Shodoshima somen noodles. The annex, opened in 2019, themes each floor on the Seto sea, Sanuki's mountains and rivers, spring rapeseed blossoms and local festivals.

Getting there: About 8 minutes by taxi from JR Takamatsu Station, or about 16 minutes on the Machinaka Loop Bus (get off at Takamatsu Keirinjo)
Best for: Travelers touring Kagawa by car, or anyone who wants a quiet garden view and a hotel with local character
