The garden was created by Teiji Kusuoka, who also worked on the Imperial Palace's new palace. In spring 209 cherry trees of 17 varieties bloom, autumn brings red maples, and a koi pond, Kannon hall and bell tower dot the grounds.

The 4th-floor lounge serves a Japanese breakfast, tea time, cocktail time and a nightcap throughout the day, with a curated selection of sake and shochu in the evening.

Tatami suites

Every room is a Japanese-style tatami suite of 50.1–100.8㎡ with two 120cm-wide beds. The Hanakohro Suite has a bathtub of hinoki cypress and Towada stone.
