Red-tiled cottages with gardens

Set inside Taketomi's preserved village district, the inn has just two red-tile-roofed cottages enclosed by coral-stone walls, each with its own private garden.

Handmade mosaic bathrooms

The mosaic tiles in the bathrooms were laid by hand over several months by the owner and a craftsman. Aroma oils are provided for the bath.

Island-crafted tatami room

The Japanese room uses Ryukyu rush tatami, Ryukyu plaster walls and Taketomi-grown wood for details such as door handles. Island herbal tea and an original coffee set are provided.

Port pick-up

Let the inn know when you will arrive at Taketomi Port and staff will pick you up by car or tuk-tuk.

Getting there

About 10 min by high-speed ferry from Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal; pick-up from Taketomi Port (about 15 min on foot)
