Property Description The Guesthouse Nara Komachi was recently opened in the ancient city of Nara in February 2010, to greet the 1300th anniversary of Nara Heijo-kyo as the former capital of Japan. Our guesthouse is a new type hostel combining the atmosphere of a European or American guesthouse and a Japanese Ryokan. We welcome you with a smile. The Guesthouse Narakomachi is located near JR Nara station ( 4-minute walk ) and within reach of world heritage and tourist sites such as the Todaiji Temple, the Kofukuji Temple, Kasugataisha Shrine, Nara park, the traditional Japanese town of Naramachi and so on. There are also convenience stores, a post office and bank within 5-minutes walk. We have various room types such as Japanese style rooms ( Japanese tatami mats and futon ), Western style rooms and Dormitory type rooms ( bunk beds ). You can choose your room to suit the style of your trip. Ideal whether coming with friends or family, as a couple or travelling alone. Turn left onto the narrow path just after passing the Comfort Hotel 5. Guesthouse Nara Komachi is one block ahead on your right-hand side / 15-minute walk from No.6 Exit of Kintetsu Nara sta. ( Kintetsu Nara Line ) 1. Go out of No.6 Exit of Kintetsu Nara sta. 2. Walk to the right and turn left at the main street ( Yasuragi Street ) 3. Walk straight ahead, passing VIVRE on your left along the way 4. Turn right at the first crossroads, then keep walking onto 'Sanjo Street' ( Sanjo Street connects JR Nara sta. and Kofuku Temple area ) 5. After walking for about 5 minutes, you will see JR Nara sta. across the street 6. Turn left at the corner with Nanto Bank and keep walking 7. Turn left onto the narrow path just after passing the Comfort Hotel 8. Guesthouse Nara Komachi is one block ahead on your right-hand side
