ABOUT
Iwate · Yamayuri no Yado

Take all the 1,200-year-old Dai Onsen source water you like, in the baths and in your room's semi-open-air tub, then close the day with Iwate's finest grilled over the hearth. Ringed by mountains on every side, this hidden retreat has a different view waiting each season.
Property Description This hot-spring resort is situated in the mountains of Hanamaki, blessed with nature and surrounded on all four sides by mountains. In the Tohoku area guests can enjoy different scenery in spring, summer, autumn and winter. This is a Japanese-style hot-spring hotel but our modern art decor creates an atmosphere of Japanese modernity. We also arrange seasonal flowers. Hotel features a hot-spring bath filled with natural spring water, so guests can also enjoy a refreshing bath. The mildly alkaline water makes skin smooth and warms the whole body. The bath is open from check-in until check-out. For meals, we provide char-grilled Irori food, which is rarely served these days. We cook charcoal-grilled fish, Dengaku and Nabe ( hot-pot ) cuisine. Guests can enjoy having their food cooked in front of them. We also serve Irori cooked Japanese meals for breakfast. We hope guests will relax with the warm hospitality offered at Yamayurinoyado. Property Access 20-minutes by car from Shinhanaki Station. 10-minutes by car from Hanamaki Interchangechange on Tohoku Expressway. 15-minutes by car from Hanamori Airport.
