♨️Source water from the natural Mikata hot spring, discovered in 2002, is piped in for the large communal bath.
🧂A strong sodium chloride spring (mildly alkaline, hypertonic), with a rich yield of 190 liters per minute at 40°C from the source.
💧Notable for containing 14.3mg/kg of iodine along with metaboric acid and potassium.
