Property Description Kishigon Ryokan established in 1576 and sit on the top of stone steps which is symbol of Ikaho hot spring resort. A long-established Japanese hotel stick with great view from good old days and hot springs that flows from the source. Hot spring run through the Ikaho shrine from the source ' Ogon-no-yu ' and flowing underneath the stone steps and poured into each bathtub. Please enjoy this soft hot spring with flower of sulfur. You can enjoy panorama views of nature in the annex open-air cypress bath ' Gonzaemon-no-yu ', view of stone steps town and mountains of Jomo from observation open-air bath ' Rokuzaemon-no-yu ' and overlook the Mikuni mountain, range and peaks of mountain Tanigawa from glass-walled inside bath and open-air bath. If you want to soak in a hot spring without any hesitation we recommend our chartered observation bath. Enjoy fruitful time with your precious people inlcuding family, married couple and couple ( extra fee and advanced reservations required ). Hot spring bath ' Matazaemon-no-yu ' are open 24 hours a day. We offer homemade aperitif and Kaiseki meals ( set of dishes served on an individual tray ) cooked with locally grown vegetables. Provides authentic Japanese-style guest room with tatami mat floors. Property Access 105 min ride on limited express train from Ueno to Shibukawa station and 30 min by bus to Ikaho-onsen bus stop from Shibukawa station. Bus will departure 3 to 4 times per hour in accordance with expected arrival time of a train / 50 min by Joetsu Shinkansen bullet train from Tokyo to Takasaki station and 75 min by bus to Ikaho-onsen bus stop from Takasaki station. Bus will departure 5 to 6 times per day ( last departure time is 16:30 ) / 20 min drive from Shibukawa-Ikaho I.C. on Kanetsu Expressway / 15 min by taxi from Shibukawa station on Joetsu line
